Peter Srinivasan was one of the co-creators of Random Encounters, the other being AJ Pinkerton. Along with occasionally acting, he was the audio engineer and creates digital effects for the video game musicals.
History[]
Peter got his start composing for his marching band in high school. He met AJ in college, where they were in film school together. In second semester, the two started their first co-musical. Promptly, they branched off to make their own productions, testing every genre. Shortly after college, Srinivasan moved to Los Angeles joining AJ, who had moved there the previous year.
One day, he received a call from his friend, requesting help on a Sega-sponsored contest entry that became "Needlemouse: the Musical", which won the grand prize. It was one of the first videos uploaded to the Random Encounters channel. Since then, their following has grown substantially and Peter has even taken the brave step of acting in some of their musicals as characters such as the Neighbor from "Hello, Neighbor!"
Separation from RE[]
On October 29, 2017, Peter announced he no longer would be collaborating with Random Encounters along with Miss Bird.
He now works on audio editing and mixing, which includes music mixing and mastering, dialogue editing, and sound design. You can find his site here: https://idyllsounds.com/
